2016 Regina Guitar Show a Resounding Success!
Musicians from across Southern Saskatchewan gathered Saturday for the first annual 2016 Regina Guitar Show to build community and discover a wide range of instruments, pedals, amplifiers and accessories to add to their collections.
"We're overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the Regina guitar community," said Scott Harwood, an event organizer with the Amplify Digital Marketing Corporation. "We met our attendance targets in our second hour, and our exhibitors and vendors have had a great initial show in Saskatchewan. We're excited to see how our Saskatoon event turns out tomorrow!"
The 2016 Regina Guitar Show was envisioned in the fall of 2015 after producing and promoting a successful sixth annual show in Edmonton in September. Planned to run in conjunction with a similar show in Saskatoon on back-to-back weekend days in May, the show attracted vendors from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The Regina Guitar Show was held at the Conexus Arts Centre and attracted over 20 exhibitors and 350 attendees.
